After graduation, Emily moved to Denton, TX to attend the University of North Texas as a Dance Major. There she was a proud UNT Dancer, featured soloist in the Dance Department Staff Choreography Show, and chosen dancer in the Senior Choreography Show. She spent the Summer of her Sophomore year touring the United States as an Instructor and Competition Judge for MA Dance. In 2001, Emily was honored to be chosen onto the Dallas Desperados Dancers, Arena Football Team of the Dallas Cowboys. The following two years, Emily continued working with the Dallas Desperados Dancers, choreographing for not only the team, but also the Youth Dance Team, the Young Gunz. She then began her five-year course with Dallas’ own, Chris & Candy Productions. With this prestigious production company, she once again toured the country five times over, this time as a performer. She was honored to be chosen to choreograph the opening and closing ceremonies of The North American Body Painting Championships in Las Vegas and in Dallas. Emily was also hand-selected to dance in Carrie Underwood’s music video, Cowboy Casanova, which went on to win CMA’s coveted Video of the Year.

She is known for the compassion and love she gives to each one of her students, making each child know how special they are in this world, and to her. She had the honor and privilege of Directing and Choreographing for the Dallas Vigilantes Dancers, the Texas Revolution Dancers, the Frisco Fighters Bombshells, and the Dallas Sidekicks Dancers. Local Universities and High Schools actively seek out Emily for choreography and instruction.

In early 2013, Emily opened her dream come true, Pure Movement Dance & Production Co. She looks forward to continually opening doors, and breaking the boundaries of what is typical in this dance industry. Emily lives in Allen, TX where she is happily married to her husband, Billy, and is the proud mama to two very handsome boys, Corbin and Davin.
