Katlyn is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Texas at Dallas. She was mentored by Kiera Leverton and Katelyn Harris through the Drawbacks Youth Tap Ensemble and has also had the opportunity to train with Buster Cooper, Acia Gray, Jason Janas, Anthony Morigerato, and many more.
Katlyn’s performance credits include: Christmas Pops with Marvin Hamlisch presented by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerson Symphony Center, Forever Living Global, American College Dance Festival Kennedy Center Nationals, University of Texas at Dallas dance ensemble, Rhythmic Souls Tap Company, and Choreo Records Tap Company. In addition to working as the Administrative Director for Adrenaline and Revive Dance Conventions, Katlyn enjoys spreading her love for tap dance through teaching and performing locally in the Dallas area.
